Peace Fiadzomor is a tutor at the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, School of Allied Health Sciences, University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ghana. Prior to this, she was the Headmistress of Ho United M/A Basic School and an adjunct lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba.
Education
She had her professional teachers’ certificate ‘A’ from St. Teresa Teacher Training College in Hohoe, first degree in linguistics with philosophy at the University of Ghana, Legon after a diploma in Human resource management with (ICM) UK. She later pursued a Master of Arts in teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) at the same university. She then obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education with the University of Education, Winneba.
Work experience
She has practised as a professional teacher for the past twenty-one (21) years in the Ghana Education Service. During this period, she held various positions including Assistant Head of both Academics and Administration in three different schools; New Asafo Sub-Metro Basic School, Tafo Pankrono J.H.S. all in Kumasi and Bokemi M/A Basic School in Accra. She also held the position of Guidance and Counselling Coordinator in two of the above schools and teacher in charge of girl child Education at Tafo Pankrono M/A J.H.S. in Kumasi.
Sciences/Research
Ms. Peace Fiadzomor has researched into Ghana’s language policy and appropriate English Language Teaching Methodologies in Basic Schools. She co-published a paper on customer relationship management in practice on a multi credit financial institution in Ghana.
