The Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Science of the School of Allied Health Sciences in conjunction with MOTEC LIFE UK, (a British Registered Medical Charity) will hold a One-Day Physiotherapy Lecture at the Permanent Site Auditorium of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Sokode Lokoe.
The Lecture is the Second Annual Event which draws experts in the area of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, who will present and practically demonstrate on the following topics;
1. Paediatric Physiotherapy and Club Foot (Talipes)
2. Adult musculoskeletal injuries
3. Knee assessment in injury, disease and post-surgery
4. Total knee replacement and knee arthroscopic surgery
5. Paediatric irritable hip
6. Infection control and microbial antibiotic resistance
7. Assessment of the hip, rehabilitation post-surgery (Total knee, post-hip fracture)
8. Post op spinal surgery rehabilitation and walking aids.
The lecture is primarily focused on Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Science students and faculty but opened to interested persons or staff of the University Community.
