Mr. Arnold Togiwe Luuse is an Assistant Research Fellow at the School of Allied Health Sciences, of the University of Health and Allied Health Sciences in Ghana. Prior to this position, he was a research associate with Navrongo Health Research Centre (NHRC), in Upper East region of Ghana.
Education
He had a diploma in community health from Kintampo Rural Health School, now known as College of Health Sciences. He proceeded to University of Cape Coast to pursue bachelor degree in Chemistry (BSc. Chemistry), before going to the University of Ghana Medical School to offer MPhil Immunology. He is currently offering a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens in the department of Biochemistry in University of Ghana, Legon.
Work Experience
He started as a field worker with NHRC and later became a research associate and worked mainly in the NHRC clinical laboratory.
Science/Research Output
His research area is in infectious diseases, which include malaria and Hepatitis. His current work is on malaria in pregnancy and has published two papers on hepatitis. He currently has two papers on malaria under peer review.
